Business Pages Now Available on Google+

Google has now opened the door for businesses, brands, products, artists, and other non-individual type users to represent themselves on Google+.

Google+ Pages allow organizations and brands to participate with Google's social platform in ways that previously were only available to individual users. In an official blog post on Monday, Google's Senior VP of Engineering Vic Gundotra shared the news, along with several tips for businesses who are ready to get started.

That same day, Search Engine Land's Danny Sullivan posted a related blog that went into a little more detail and laid out some advice for those new to the Google+ environment.
