AAI Turns 13, Significant Growth Marks Another Record Year

Today, August Ash, Inc. turned 13--a milestone we're excited to celebrate with you. We've come a long way over the years, and we're thrilled to share the achievement with a roster of loyal customers, and a staff of outstanding individuals.

In terms of web design and Internet marketing firms our size and in this market (Minneapolis - St. Paul, MN), we've witnessed a lot of things come and go in the past 13 years. Some things, however, have remained the same since day one.

AAI Sends Crew of 10 to Assist Habitat for Humanity in Minneapolis

Last Friday, Minneapolis web design firm August Ash, Inc. sent 10 of its employees to help Habitat for Humanity improve the quality of living for a local family.

The project, located in Minneapolis, was a "rehab." The day our team was on site, most of the work was focused on lead abatement, cleaning, scraping, and insulating. Even in a mostly unheated and drafty house, the team managed to work up a considerable sweat--though that was helped primarily by the haz-mat type gear.

Upgrading to Drupal 7: What's at Stake

Over the last several months, our Drupal developers have been looking closer at the process of upgrading websites from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.

In short, it's been reaffirmed that, due to the extremely modular nature of Drupal, an upgrade can be a daunting task.  If all the modules for a particular website have good "upgrade paths," (meaning those modules are easily scalable for new updates), the upgrade process could go smoothly.
