How can I avoid exceeding my usage quota?

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009 by August Ash

August Ash email accounts have a 20MB quota. Exceeding this quota will prevent you from receiving mail.

Using software like Outlook or Apple Mail allows you to store your messages on your own computer (instead of August Ash’s server), which will keep you from running out of space. Be sure to set your delivery settings so that messages are removed from the server instead of saved in both places.

If you aren’t sure how to do that, contact August Ash.

If you suspect you’ve exceeded your quota, log into webmail (http://webmail.yourdomain.com).

Looking at your messages in webmail will show you exactly what is stored on the server. If you’re over quota, try clearing out your trash or sent items folders.
