Upcoming Drupal and Magento Events

August Ash is excited to be attending two important upcoming industry events, and we want to spread the word to others who may also be interested.

Magento 1.7 Coming Soon (e-commerce)

Magento 1.7, a new update to the already dependable e-commerce platform, should be released sometime within the next month, and with it, brings some exciting new features (as well as many bug fixes).

It should come as little surprise that more sales each year, especially during the holiday shopping season, are taking place online. But the extent of that trend remains newsworthy, bolstered by statistics that show strong increases in ecommerce purchases.

We're frequently approached for Magento design, development, and implementation; many times by businesses who already have a Magento site but one which needs repair or completion. And because a big part of what we do is relative to ecommerce sites, we love those opportunities.

Magento eCommerce Forum to be Held at August Ash Offices

Next Wednesday, October 26th, Magento will be holding a limited availability eCommerce Forum in Minnesota. Because of our relationship and experience with Magento's platform, August Ash has been selected to host this event.

The eCommerce Forum, part of Magento's Seminar Series, will teach businesses how to convert vistors who browse into visitors who buy.
