Video of DrupalCon Denver Keynote from Luke Wroblewski

While attending DrupalCon 2012 in Denver last week, select members of our team were able to participate in a number of industry-significant events and sessions. Among them was the following keynote presentation from Luke Wroblewski, which makes a smart (and timely) case for mobile design. More to the point, Luke's speech points to a strategy of "mobile first" that we'll hopefully see implemented worldwide in the near future.

Upcoming Drupal and Magento Events

August Ash is excited to be attending two important upcoming industry events, and we want to spread the word to others who may also be interested.

New Launch: MAC Noise

This week saw the launch of a new website for the Metropolitan Airports Commission Noise Program Office (or, MAC Noise). The redesigned site provided more than an a refreshed look and feel online for the organization, though.

Upgrading to Drupal 7: What's at Stake

Over the last several months, our Drupal developers have been looking closer at the process of upgrading websites from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.

In short, it's been reaffirmed that, due to the extremely modular nature of Drupal, an upgrade can be a daunting task.  If all the modules for a particular website have good "upgrade paths," (meaning those modules are easily scalable for new updates), the upgrade process could go smoothly.
