Internet Marketing Strategist

We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Internet Marketing Strategist - Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Associate.

Requirements

• Minimum one year experience managing SEM campaigns.
• Familiarity with general marketing principles, practices and techniques.
• Experience with high traffic online marketing venues and social networking tools.
• Demonstrated understanding of search engine marketing industry best practices.
• Intermediate understanding of pay-per-click (PPC) ad programs and email marketing.
• Ability to research and thoroughly understand client’s business/industry.
• Ability to write compelling ad content.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented, but keeps the big picture in mind.
• Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
• Highly developed skills in MS Excel are mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and web standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide SEM consultative and implementation services to August Ash Inc. and its clients.
• Achieve maximum ROI relative to any SEM initiatives.
• Analyze AAI’s clients overall SEM needs, their websites' various rankings and analytics data and formulate strategies to improve them.
• Achieve high natural rankings relative to a client’s targeted keywords/phrases within their industry and market.
• Achieve high click-through-rates (CTR) and overall conversion rates, relative to a client’s pay-per-click (PPC) campaign.
• Assist in writing SEM related proposals.
• Assist the AAI team in the sales process relative to quoting SEM work.
• Report the results of SEM work done for AAI’s clients.
• Constant interaction with Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN AdCenter.
• Effective use of web analytics and traffic monitoring tools.
• Daily analysis and campaign optimization.
• Produce client reports outlining campaign performance.
• Work with development team to optimize websites and landing pages.
• Ongoing collaboration with client and development team.
