The Prouty Project takes a very creative approach to strategic planning and organizational development. They want to stretch the organizations they work with to reach their next big goals by introducing them to new experiences and ways of thinking. This stretching is rarely, if ever, done in a board room as you might imagine, though.

While it's not the only tool they use, one of the most innovative and notable concepts the Prouty Project uses to stretch organizations is their Stretch Expeditions. These annual adventures take Prouty Project employees and clients beyond their homes and offices to exciting destinations around the world. The idea is that these trips will help people develop a mindset to learn, reflect, and gain a different perspective on business and on life. PastStretch Expeditions have included travels to India, Patagonia, Sri Lanka, France, and China.

The Prouty Project needed a website that reflected the same creativity they apply to their work. August Ash'snew site was designed with this idea in mind, as well as the goal to create an engaging, interactive experience for visitors. A Flash presentation on the home page quickly tells potential clients about the company, and photo galleries illustrate the Stretch Expeditions for visitors.

While the look of the site was important to the Prouty Project, just as essential was the ability to easily update it, keeping their current and potential clients up to date. The new site was built with a content management system that allows employees to update content, add pages, and edit the photo galleries as they return from new Stretch Expeditions.
