The Challenge  

Advanced Molding Technologies approached us with a common problem; they were great at producing cutting-edge molded components & medical devices, but they were looking for a more effective way to establish credibility and validation in the eyes of their current and potential customers. They sought to create a brand new website.  

Their current website was ineffective for a variety of reasons. First, the website was outdated from a visual perspective. They wanted a clean, modern, and sophisticated design that matched their company as a whole. Second, it did not reflect their redefined market positioning which in return failed to attract the right customers and recruit new talent. Lastly, they were unable to make edits given the previous design. They needed their digital identity to reflect their redefined marketing message. Together with Advanced Molding Technologies, we committed to building an online presence that reflected their market positioning and their company culture.

My biggest concern for the new website was the ability for me to edit it post-launch. The website was built in such a way that it is easy for me to edit and I am not reliant on August Ash to make basic changes. The fact that August Ash encouraged this from the start was a huge reason we chose to work with you guys. It was clear you had our long-term goals in mind.

Advanced Molding Technologies had refined its core message through an in-depth analysis of their existing customer portfolio.  During the initial website design and build process, our marketing team worked very closely with Advanced Molding Technologies’ marketing team to translate this message into a clean digital design. This process included branding exercises, identifying primary audiences, story based design planning, and establishing page goals for the new website. Advanced Molding Technologies content was very detailed and was written to appeal to specific buyer persona groups, therefore it was imperative that our teams worked together to create a marketing roadmap for the new website that kept their customers’ perspectives at the forefront. Advanced Molding Technologies is now empowered to deliver the best digital experience to their customers with a new website that is within their key brand messaging.

The Result  

Before Advanced Molding Technologies partnered with our team, they were experiencing trouble in attracting clients that were the right fit for their company. Frustrated with the lack of quality leads coming through the door, they knew that it was time to shift gears on their digital efforts. As a result of cross-team collaboration, we created a new, sophisticated digital platform that allows Advanced Molding Technologies to communicate their key messaging and showcase their established position and knowledge within their industry.  

Their new website drives not only more conversions, but more qualified leads than they’ve ever experienced before. In fact, the new Drupal 8 CMS and their carefully curated content strategy led to 4x the amount of qualified leads within the first two months of their website being launched as well as a 28.7% increase in session duration. Improved SEO and a seamless content management system were additional benefits Advanced Molding Technologies has taken advantage of since the launch of their new website. In addition, one job posting received so much response that it had to be taken down within days of being posted.  Our team is honored to continue our partnership with Advanced Molding Technologies and we look forward to helping them achieve further growth and success.
